Pastor's Welcome Letter
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Our St. James Church family is a diverse, Evangelical and Reformed congregation, made up of people of all ages, walks of life, and backgrounds. Though we are different in many ways, we are united in our commitment to proclaim and joyfully submit to God's Word, and through it to worship God in spirit and in truth, to bring glory to Jesus Christ, and to have our hearts, minds, and lives transformed by the Holy Spirit.
When you arrive at St. James Church, you will see the words, "ENTER TO WORSHIP, DEPART TO SERVE," etched into the stone above the entrance. May we fulfill this calling as we gather together in the sanctuary on Sundays, and as we go into the world throughout the week. May our century-old legacy in the neighborhood propel us forward into another century of worshiping our Lord Jesus and serving others in his name. May those words be etched into the hearts of our ministers—each and every member of St. James Church!
Ephesians 2:10—For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
If there is any way that I can serve or pray for you or your family, it will be my joy.
In Christ,
Pastor David
Soli Deo Gloria—Glory to God alone!
